Terms of Use
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Agreement
By using JsonYard you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
The service
JsonYard provides a free, browser-based workbench to format, validate, and convert JSON, YAML, and CSV. Features may change. The product is offered as free forever on the published site without requiring an account for core tools, and without ads in the current release.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you paste and for verifying outputs before using them in production systems. You must not misuse the site (for example attempting to disrupt hosting, scrape in abusive ways, or use the service to violate applicable law).
No warranty
JsonYard is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that conversion will be perfect for every edge-case document (especially nested CSV).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of JsonYard are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the site.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how local processing and hosting logs work. Because documents are processed in your browser, you remain responsible for handling sensitive data appropriately on your device.
Intellectual property
Site branding, layout, and original copy are owned by the operators. Libraries bundled with the site remain under their respective licenses (for example js-yaml).
Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
Contact
Questions about these terms can be directed through the operator channels published with JsonYard launch materials.
